Kimberly Ann Green, born on August 2, 1977, in Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on August 5, 2026, in Odessa, Texas, just days after celebrating her 49th birthday. Kimberly was remembered as a loving, intelligent, and passionate woman whose warmth touched the lives of many. Her bright smile, infectious laughter, and joyful personality made her a cherished daughter, mother, friend, coworker, and mentor. She approached life with kindness, determination, grace, and remarkable strength.
During her childhood, Kimberly and her family lived in several communities across the country. Their journey took them from Kenai, Alaska, to Florence, Oregon, and later to Grants, New Mexico. Around the age of nine, Kimberly settled in Odessa, Texas, which became an important and lasting part of her life. She attended Murry Fly Elementary School and Ector Junior High before graduating from Odessa High School in 1996. She later pursued higher education in Meridian, Mississippi.
As a teenager, Kimberly discovered a love for athletics, becoming involved in both the tennis and swim teams. She enjoyed the discipline, competition, friendships, and challenges that came with sports. Her determination and energetic nature were evident from an early age and continued throughout her life.
Above all, Kimberly treasured her family. One of her greatest sources of pride was raising her two daughters, Victoria and Celeste Green. With support from her mother, she helped guide her daughters into the women they became. Though raising a household of strong-willed women came with challenges, Kimberly embraced motherhood wholeheartedly. She gave her family love, patience, encouragement, and perseverance, leaving behind memories that will remain treasured by those who knew and loved her.
