Davis died following a serious vehicle collision in Miami-Dade County, Florida, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. According to authorities, deputies were conducting a traffic stop when 21-year-old Luis Manuel Perez allegedly fled the scene. The fleeing vehicle later crashed near Northwest 51st Terrace and Northwest 33rd Avenue, striking vehicles including the one in which Davis was traveling. Davis was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition but later died from his injuries.
